The export functionality helps you to export the roles exist in your WordPress site. You can import these roles back to the same site to restore the roles or you can import it into a different WordPress site.
Access the “Exports” screen using the menu link under “Roles”.
Select the roles you want to export, then click on the “Download Export File” button to download the export file.
