Delete Taxonomy

To delete a taxonomy, click on the “Delete” link in row actions within the “Taxonomies” screen.

You can only delete taxonomies created from this screen.

To remove taxonomies created from other plugins, use the “Deactivate” functionality available in the row actions.

You can not delete or deactivate built-in taxonomies.
