Post level extended permissions are configured on individual posts/pages/media/custom posts.
When you try to create or edit a post, page or custom post type, you can configure it using the “Role Permissions” section. For media, access the role permissions section using the “Edit more details” link.
By default all permissions will be set to “inherit”.

You can disable extended permissions of a post type using the “Disable Extended Permissions” setting.
Updating Multiple Records
If you want to update multiple Posts, Pages, Media or Custom Posts with the same data, then it can be easily done through Bulk Edit. Once you are in the Bulk Edit screen, select “Extended Permissions”.
