Delete Post Type

To delete a post type, click on the “Delete” link in row actions within the “Post Types” screen.

You can only delete post types created from this screen.

To remove post types created from other plugins, use the “Deactivate” functionality available in the row actions.

You can not delete or deactivate built-in post types.
