Restore role functionality allows you to restore WordPress default/built-in roles to its original configuration.
Only the built-in roles are available under this functionality.
- Administrator
- Editor
- Author
- Contributor
- Subscriber
By default only WordPress core capabilities and WPFront created capabilities will be restored.
If you want to remove other custom capabilities from that role, enable “Remove Non-Standard Capabilities on Restore” setting available under the “Settings” page.
When you restore “Administrator” role, all capabilities exist in your WordPress site will be added to that role.
